This parcel of white opal gemstones comes from the mining region of Andamooka; it consists of 5 well matched, stunning opals. Each piece has a lovely medium patterning with many colors on show, such as red, purple, light blue and splashes of green. The smallest opal is 10.7mm x 13.6mm and 4mm in height, the middle sized stone is 12.5mm x 15.3mm and has a depth of 6mm, while the largest piece is 15.3mm x 18mm and is 6.2mm in height. The style of cut for this opal parcel is medium cabochon, making them ideally suited for a claw setting, and with the milky appearance, silver or white gold would help to lift the colors superbly.
