When looking at this solid crystal opal, I can't help but think it would be ideally suited for a ring, for there is ample of play of color and pattern when you admire it from any angle. With regular patterning of medium size, this specimen is a fine example of the opal that is mined in the Lightning Ridge region of N.S.W. With no visible faults or inclusions this opal is exceptional value for money.
