This oval dark crystal opal was mined in Lightning Ridge and is a great size for the price, especially with the amount of color you see coming from deep within the heart of the opal. Measuring 14.8 x 11mm and having a low cabochon style of cut, you have freedom in design choice when it comes to setting this multi colored gem. There are minor inclusions that are not going to be noticeable once set.
