Of the four fossilized opal snails pictured here, only one of them appears to be without any visible color. But once you remove more of the sandstone that this treasure has been hiding in for the last 150 million years, you may be pleasantly surprised then again you may not. But this is half of the enjoyment when you are dealing with fossils. Each of these snails has a great shape of the shell it once was. A must have for the avid collector.
