Coober Pedy Opal Shell
Crystal Fossil Opal
This fossilized opal shell comes from Coober Pedy, an area that once many millions of years before was an inland sea that was once home to the shell you see here.
Green is the color that demands to be noticed, from where ever you look at this specimen, while swatches of blue dance in an alluring display from between the patterning of green.
Look deep into this opal shell and you will see gold, orange, yellow and hints of red trying to make their way to the surface so they too can be admired.
This opal shell would be a great specimen to add to any collector's set, or could be set as a unique pendant in your choice of metal type of course.
