Crystal Opal set in 18ct Yellow Gold
When looking at this opal pendant I can't help but visualize two hands gently cradling the opal gemstone that has been set in a bezel setting choice.
Made from 18ct yellow gold, the pedant contains a solid crystal opal that was mined from the Coober Pedy mining region in South Australia. The opal has a generous broadflash that starts off red, then is transformed to a gold, then orange to finally a green flash in a most tremendous display.
The opal does contain one minor inclusion, as you can see in the photos, but this does not detract from its beauty.
